Hello there! I’m se7en.

Welcome to restless.blog. I’m so glad you found your way here.

I’ve always believed that the best things in life — whether it’s a perfectly crafted piece of code or a story that stays with you for years — are better when they’re shared. This site is my digital garden: a place where I document my pursuit of mastery in systems, software, and self-discovery.

But more than just a personal notebook, I want this to be a community. A space for the curious, the introspective, and the builders who care about the “why” just as much as the “how.”

A Bit About Me

I’m a software engineer by trade, but I’m a student of systems by nature. I spend my days building tools and my nights diving into the moral weight of epic fantasy or the precision of philosophy.

I’m drawn to characters who carry “quiet storms” — the introspective minds who understand more than they say. I recognize a lot of myself in those stories. I’m an introvert at heart, but I’ve found that the most rewarding breakthroughs happen when we stop and talk to each other.

What Drives This Site (And Me)

  • The Joy of Craft: I believe in the beauty of a well-made system. Whether it’s a CLI tool or a WebGL scene, I’m chasing that feeling of “rightness” where nothing is wasted.
  • Deep Reading: I don’t just read for escape; I read to understand. From Malazan and Robin Hobb to Dostoevsky and Discworld, I love books that refuse easy resolutions.
  • Shared Growth: I’m not just here to “think out loud.” I’m here to learn from you. Your perspectives, questions, and even your disagreements help me see the world in higher resolution.

Let’s Connect!

I truly mean it when I say I want to hear from you. This isn’t a broadcast; it’s an invitation to start a conversation.

If you have a book recommendation, a question about a technical post, a thought on systems thinking, or if you just want to say hello — please reach out!

Primary Contact: [email protected]

I read every email. It might take me a little while to get back to you (I’m often deep in a book or a build!), but I promise an honest and thoughtful response.

You can also find me on X (Twitter) if you want to follow along with my day-to-day thoughts.

I’m so glad you’re here. Let’s build something meaningful together.
